For the first time Internet Society Nepal Chapter (ISOC) is conducting Nepal School on Internet Governance (NPSIG) on 19th and 20th of January in Information & Communication Technology Center (ICTC) Institutes of Engineering, Pulchowk. The program will run in coordination with multi-Stakeholder involvement.
“NPSIG aims to train professionals in the Internet domain of Internet Governance, schooling them to prepare themselves to participate effectively in ALLSIG, APSIG, APrIGF, global Internet Governance processes, and institutions,” said the organizers. They also mentioned, NPSIG is proposed as an annual school that would be held in Nepal every year.
NPSIG targets the audiences from different sectors such as:
- Civil Society, NGOs & INGOs
- Technical Community
- Private Sector
NPSIG is supported by Government of Nepal, Internet Society, and other organizations.
