Within coming three months 7 different public places of Kathmandu Metropolitan City will enjoy the free internet access.
In a meeting that held in KMC’s office on Sunday, Executive Director of KMC Dhani Ram Sharma and Director of Worldlink Communication Bijay Kumar Jalan signed an agreement for starting the service.
Pashupati area, Balaju Park, Swaymbhu, Bouddha and Basantapur Durbar area will be the locations that will be benefited with free internet facility. As per the contract paper, within 6o days of agreement signed the service should be in operation. The service will be valid till 5 years.
In the first phase we have only seven places that will get free internet but in next phase, the facility will be extended to more places said Bidhya Sundar Shakya Head of KMC.
Likewise, Executive Director of KMC Dhani Ram Sharma pledges to start the work within guaranteed time.
With that, Director of Worldlink Communication Bijay Kumar Jalan promises to give quality service to the public.
