5th International Conference on Developments in Renewable Energy Technology kicks off from today in the capital at Hotel Radisson.
The three days conference will talk about different aspects of renewable energy. ICDRET gathers academicians, researchers, engineers, and Industry experts involved in multiple disciplines of Renewable Energy Technologies. ICDRET provides a leading edge, scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, and students alike to share their state-of-the- art research and developmental work, new ideas and break-through in all area of Renewable Energy Technologies (RET’s).
Purna N. Ranjitkar in “The Nepal Weekly” writes without energy “no action is possible in the world is widely accepted contemporary thought. So as energy is indispensible in modern society and is one of the most important components that relates to socio-economic development. Technologies and sources of renewable energy have been tapped well in developed countries.”
He also mentions “access of modern energy to all in the country is possible with plans and policies the government is implementing. The people once get access to modern energy will help improve their living quality, better health and contribute to better environment.”
ICDRET 2018 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Power and Energy Society (IEEE PES). The conference will conclude on March 31, Saturday.
