15th National Technological Festival (NTF) the largest technological fest organized by the Locus (undergraduate students from Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Engineering department of IOE, Central Campus) commenced from today. The event will conclude on 4th of February, Sunday
Different higher level personalities showed their presence in the event. Minister of Communication and Information Mohan Bahadur Basnet was the Chief Guest of the carnival likewise; Swarnim Wagle Vice- Chairman of National Planning Commission appeared as the special guest in the gala
Minister of Communication and Information Mohan Bahadur Basnet said “no any country can step towards the development until and unless the IT background of country progresses. Likewise, he also informed about the pilot project that is going to be run by the government; nation’s administration very soon will be making computer education compulsory all over the country very soon where he mentioned, within 3 years every student who are deprived of computer education will be practicing computer education system. With that Basnet expressed gratitude towards Pulchowk Engineering College for playing a great role in making the country better since a long time ago.
The occurrence is a package of different exhilarating technological stuffs. NTF includes many exciting events such as ethical hacking, Robo Wars, Dronacharya, Yomari Code Camp and among others. That’s why I personally refer the entire tech freak and science heads to visit the gala at least for once trust me it is worth going there. To add more blissful color in the carnival the organizers also had set the schedule for acoustic musical eve.
Swarnim Wagle Vice Chairman of the National planning Commission appreciated the organizers of NTF and appeals to arrange similar kind of program on upcoming days too.
Numbers of Stalls regarding scientific stuff is installed in the fair.
“I would like to congratulate all the organizers of NTF,” said Roshan Thapa Magar president of Free Student Union (FSU) Pulchowk Engineering Campus. He also added FSU will be always supportive for this kind of program as it inspires and motivates students for their studies.
Gokarna Bahadur Motra Campus chief of Pulchwok Engineering says “NTF is a great platform for students to demonstrate their work, project, and creativity that’s why it must go every year”
Students from various academic institutions showed their participants in the fete. Locus also released its annual magazine “Zerone Magazine” during the inauguration of an event.
At the end, coordinator of Locus Prasidha Karki expressed gratefulness to all the sponsors, college teachers and all the helping hands that made the festival happen.
